It's fitting that this ancient Greek Text IXOYE Fish Symbol has been created to appear to be on parchment paper as, historically, parchment was the material used to write on, and the Christian Fish Symbol was created by first century Christians.As a persecuted people, they used this symbol as a hidden message to tell other Christians where they were located without giving their location away to those who were cruelly mistreating them. When turned into an acrostic, the ancient Greek word for fish meant to these Christians "Jesus Christ, God's Son, Savior."
